Hello! My name is Rebecca. I am a stay at home and small business owner. Just a quick story...I have a son who is has Asperger along with all the other great things that come with autism. His OT mentioned a weighted blanket but I could not afford the prices, so after lots of research and since I love sewing I decided to make my own. All I can say is WOW they are amazing and WOW have they have taken off! I want to make you a custom made weighted blanket at affordable prices!

HOW TO DETERMINE THE CORRECT WEIGHT
To determine the amount of weight that you will need is: A child needs 8-10% of their body weight in the blanket. Adults need 5-8% of the body weight.
Example: 45lb child needs anywhere from 4-7lbs in their blanket
